No:30 Upton Park

Earliest history of plots 14 & 15

Built in 1984/5; by builders John Goode; in the garden of no:28; this became the home of Betty Lloyd and daughter Shirley when they moved from no:28. The design was based on the sketched requirements of Betty and allowed her to have 'the right house for them now' while staying in the Park with its small village like community.

In the photograph; the mill can be seen to the right of the house.
